Effective date: May 6th, 2026
We built Praxiom Life with a simple principle: your health data belongs on your phone. By default, your biomarkers, scores, and personal trends are stored encrypted on your device and never leave it. We do not require an account to use the app. We do not sell your data. We do not advertise to you.
Three specific things you do can cause information to leave your device, and you control all three:
- Asking the AI Coach a question. Your question and the relevant biomarker context are sent to our Coach service to generate a reply. Optional and on-demand.
- Importing a lab report photo via Praxiom Lab Scanner. The image is sent to our Lab AI service to extract the values, then deleted. Optional.
- Opting in to anonymous research participation. If you accept the research consent prompt during onboarding (or enable it later in Settings), the app sends de-identified statistical signals — never your raw values, never your identity — that help the algorithm get smarter for everyone. You can opt out at any time.
The rest of this policy explains exactly what each of those does, what data we hold, what we don’t, and what your rights are.
1. Who We Are
Praxiom Life is published by Praxiom Health LLC, a Florida limited liability company. We are the data controller for any personal information processed through the app, regardless of where you are located.
For privacy questions, data-subject requests, or to exercise any of the rights described in section 8, write to contact@praxiom.life with “Privacy” in the subject line. We respond within 30 days.

2. Information stored on your device
These categories of information are created and stored exclusively on your phone, in the app’s encrypted local storage. We cannot access them. They never leave your device unless you take one of the three explicit actions in section 4.
- Profile. Date of birth (used to compute chronological age), optional name, optional sex, language preference. No email or phone is required.
- Biomarker entries. Values you enter manually (e.g. hs-CRP, HbA1c, vitamin D, MMP-8, oral metrics) and the timestamps you assign to them.
- Lab reports. Values imported from the Praxiom Lab Scanner companion app.
- Wearable data. Readings synced from Apple Health, Oura Ring, Ultrahuman Ring, and Garmin (HRV, resting heart rate, sleep duration, recovery scores, steps). The data is read directly from the wearable’s API and stored on your phone — it does not pass through our servers.
- Calculated outputs. Your biological age estimate, domain scores (Oral, Systemic, Cardiovascular, Functional), Daily Pulse Score, personal biomarker baseline ranges learned by the algorithm, and the patterns the Discovery Engine identifies in your data.
- Coach conversation history. Up to the last 6 messages, retained on-device for context continuity.
- App settings. Your consent choices, preferred units, language, notification preferences.
If you delete the app, all of this is deleted. We have no copy.
3. When information leaves your device
3.1 The AI Coach
When you send a question to the Coach, your question is transmitted to our Coach service (a Supabase Edge Function called praxiom-coach) along with a system prompt that includes the biomarker values and scores relevant to answering your question. The service relays the request to Anthropic’s Claude API to generate a reply, which is sent back to your phone.
What we do with this:
- Storage on our servers: none. The request is processed in memory and not written to a database.
- Logging: the Edge Function may produce short-lived operational logs (timestamps, success/failure status) for the purpose of debugging and rate-limiting. These do not include your question text or biomarker values and are retained for no more than 30 days.
- Anthropic’s role: Anthropic processes the request to generate the reply and does not retain your data or train models on it under our enterprise terms. See Anthropic’s privacy commitments at anthropic.com/privacy.
- Rate limit: free users are limited to two Coach questions per day; subscribers are unlimited. Counters are kept on-device.
- You can clear your Coach conversation history at any time in Settings → Coach → Clear History.
3.2 Lab report scanning (Praxiom Lab Scanner)
If you use the companion Praxiom Lab Scanner app to photograph a lab report, the image is sent to our Lab AI service (a Supabase Edge Function called lab-ocr), which uses Anthropic’s Claude API to extract the values. The extracted structured data is returned to your phone and the image is discarded immediately.
- Storage on our servers: none. Neither the image nor the extracted values are persisted server-side.
- Logging: as with the Coach, only short-lived operational logs that do not include image content or extracted values, retained no more than 30 days.
3.3 Anonymous research participation (opt-in)
If you accept the research consent prompt during onboarding, or enable research participation later in Settings, your app starts sending anonymous statistical signals to our Supabase research backend.
What’s sent:
- An install hash — a random UUID generated locally that does not contain your identity. The install hash automatically rotates every 90 days, which prevents long-term correlation across your data.
- The type of event (e.g. “biomarker entered,” “score updated,” “feature used”).
- The day the event happened (day precision only — never the time of day).
- A z-score (a number between roughly −3 and +3 indicating how unusual your value is relative to your own personal baseline). Computed only after you have ≥3 prior measurements of the same biomarker. The raw biomarker value is never transmitted.
- For some events, an age bracket (e.g. “30–39”) so we can stratify research by age group. We never send your exact age.
What’s not sent:
- Your name, email, phone number, date of birth, exact age, location, or device identifiers
- Your raw biomarker values
- Your biological age estimate, scores, or any other calculated output
- Your Coach conversations or lab report images
- Your wearable raw data
Why we do this: the algorithm gets more accurate when it can learn from population-level statistical patterns (e.g. “do MMP-8 and hs-CRP tend to rise together?”). Because we transmit only z-scores, never raw values, we can compute these patterns without ever knowing what your readings actually are.
Your control:
- You can withdraw consent at any time in Settings → Privacy → Research Participation → Off.
- Withdrawal stops all future transmissions immediately.
- For data already transmitted: because we do not store your name, device ID, or any direct identifier, we cannot link past anonymous z-scores back to you to delete them individually. The 90-day install hash rotation means past data becomes structurally unlinkable from new data within 90 days, regardless. If you want all anonymous data linked to your current install hash deleted, write to us at contact@praxiom.life with the install hash from Settings → Privacy → My Install Hash.
3.4 Subscription processing (Discovery)
If you subscribe to Praxiom Discovery, the subscription is handled entirely by RevenueCat and Apple/Google’s app store billing systems. We do not see your payment details. RevenueCat tells us only whether your subscription is active or not. See revenuecat.com/privacy.
3.5 What we do not do
We do not run analytics SDKs (no Google Analytics, no Firebase Analytics, no Mixpanel, no Amplitude). We do not show ads. We do not share data with advertisers. We do not sell, rent, or trade your data to anyone. We do not use your data to train AI models.
4. Wearables and Apple Health
When you connect a wearable, you grant Praxiom Life permission to read specific data types from it. The data is read directly from the wearable’s API (Apple HealthKit, Oura, Ultrahuman, Garmin) into your phone’s local storage. It does not pass through our servers.
You can revoke wearable access at any time:
- Apple Health: iOS Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices → Praxiom Life → toggle off
- Oura, Ultrahuman, Garmin: Praxiom Life → Settings → Devices → Disconnect; you can also revoke OAuth access in the manufacturer’s account settings
Apple HealthKit data is governed by Apple’s HealthKit framework, which we comply with. We do not use HealthKit data for advertising and do not share it with third parties.
5. Children
Praxiom Life is not intended for users under 18. The app’s onboarding flow asks you to confirm you are 18 or older. If we learn we have inadvertently collected information from someone under 18, we will delete it. If you are a parent or guardian who believes your child has used the app, write to us at contact@praxiom.life.
6. Where data is processed
Information that leaves your device under section 4 is processed by:
- Supabase (our backend platform) on AWS infrastructure. Our Supabase project is currently hosted in a US region. Supabase’s privacy practices: supabase.com/privacy.
- Anthropic (the Coach reply generator and Lab OCR engine), processing in the United States. Privacy practices: anthropic.com/privacy.
- RevenueCat (subscription state management), processing in the United States. Privacy practices: revenuecat.com/privacy.
If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, or another jurisdiction with cross-border transfer rules, your information is transferred to the United States under standard contractual clauses or equivalent legal mechanisms.
7. Your rights
Regardless of where you live, you have the right to:
- Know what we hold about you (in our case: very little — see sections 3 and 4)
- Access any information we hold that is linked to you
- Correct inaccurate information
- Delete information we hold (see section 4.3 for the specifics around anonymous research data)
- Opt out of research participation at any time without losing access to the app
- Withdraw any consent you previously gave
- Complain to your local data protection authority
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the GDPR/UK GDPR/Swiss FADP grant you these rights as a matter of law and we honour them globally regardless of your location.
If you are in California, the CCPA/CPRA grants equivalent rights including the right to know what categories of personal information we have collected, the right to delete it, and the right to opt out of “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising.
To exercise any of these rights, write to contact@praxiom.life. We do not require you to create an account or verify identity beyond what is necessary to confirm the request is genuine. We respond within 30 days.
8. Security
The on-device data described in section 3 is stored using Expo SecureStore (which on iOS uses the Keychain and on Android uses Android Keystore + EncryptedSharedPreferences). Connections to our backend services use TLS 1.2 or higher.
Because data lives on your phone and not on our servers, the strongest protection of your information is the security of your phone itself: a strong passcode, biometric lock, and OS updates.
We do our best, but no system is perfect. If we ever discover a security incident affecting your information, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by applicable law.
9. Changes to this policy
We update this policy when our practices change or when the law changes. The “last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent change. Material changes (new data flows, new processors, new categories of data) will be announced in-app before they take effect, with a renewed consent prompt where appropriate.
The policy is versioned in our app codebase. If you ever need to see what an earlier version said, write to us and we’ll provide it.
10. Important medical disclaimer
Praxiom Life is a wellness and lifestyle tool. It is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease, and the information it provides is not medical advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making decisions about your health.
The app calculates a biological age estimate and various wellness scores from biomarkers, lifestyle inputs, and wearable data. These estimates are educational tools to help you understand patterns in your own data and have a more informed conversation with your doctor. They are not clinical diagnoses and should not be used as a substitute for professional medical evaluation.
